We offer a Do –it Yourself Doggy wash. This is a service where you may bring your dog into the salon and bath it yourself.

 

Diane believes that one way to keep your pet's skin and coat healthy is to keep it clean. It is important to keep your pet's coat clean and free of tangles, this helps the coat to do the job it was intended which is to insulate the animal from the extremes in temperature as well as protect the skin. She recommends bathing your pet at least once a month if not more often. Bathing your pet more often will not dry out the coat and skin especially if you are using products designed for animals. Dogs that are being maintained for the show circuts are bathed weekly and blown dry by hand. This is how top handlers keep the animal's coats in top condition.

 

We recognize that having your pet groomed professionally on a weekly basis can become costly. This is why we offer this service. For a minimal charge of $17.95 for large dogs and $12.95 for smaller dogs you can come in and bath and dry your pet.

Heads and Tails will supply you with shampoo, brushes, dryer use, towels and an apron. We also will have a professional on hand to help guide through the process.

We will also trim your pet's nails and help you pluck excess hair from the ears for an extra charge.

Do it Yourself hours are Tuesday thru Saturday

12 noon until 4:oopm (3:00pm on Saturday)

No Appointment is necessary but you should call ahead (622-4331) to be sure we have a free tub.
